When you are having your sailing holiday in Ibiza and Formentera, you will be filled with happiness and thrill. The two places bring different types of adventure and excitement to its visitors. For instance, the island of Ibiza is famous for its summer beach parties. During the summer season, Ibiza's resaturants/c bars and nightclubs are filled with thousands of partygoers. In fact, the island is famous internationally because of its party bars. On the other hand, Formentera is more quite and peaceful. If you want to relax and stay away from noise, this island is right for you.

Because of Ibiza and Formentera's location in the southern region of Spain, its climate is very good for sailing and yachting. This is true particularly during the summer season when the sea is calm and the wind is serene. Because of this, your sailing holiday in Ibiza and Formentera will be both fun-filled and exciting. The places' temperature is also ideal for yachting because it is smooth. Its warmth during the summer season is a typical Mediterranean Sea climate. Although sailing in Ibiza and Formentera is perfect all year round, the best time however, is during the months of May to June (summer season) and December to January (Christmas and New Year period).

If you are planning to go sailing for at least 2 weeks, you can extend your visit to the beautiful island of Majorca. Its distance from Ibiza and Formentera is roughly around 60 nautical miles.

When in Ibiza, we recommend you to visit the startling beach of Platja d'en Bossa. It is one of the longest beaches in Spain. Aside from its stunning look - clear turquoise waters and white sand, the beach also a splendid sunset. To the south of Platja d'en Bossa, you can find another eye-catching beach - the Ses Salinas.

The island of Ibiza has 4 regions. These include Santa Eulària des Riu, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Sant Joan de Labritja, and Sant Antoni de Portmany.

The region of Santa Eulària des Riu is a good place to start your sailing holiday in Ibiza and Formentera. It is located in Ibiza's southeastern portion. This place is known to be full of tradition and culture. Moreover, Santa Eulària des Riu is also abundant when it comes to its stunning and magnificent sceneries and dazzling beaches.
